One example of maximum chain management is the melting of cocoa mass, butter and vegetable fats. After arranging the necessary documention we collect containers from the port after which we store the product in our food warehouse until we melt the product on our dedicated melting lines.
Many products solidify at certain temperatures, which means they have to be kept warm during storage and transhipment. The Dekker Group can keep products with a high viscosity liquid.
Solid products are melted via dedicated melting ovens or by using a hotbox to heat the IBCs/drums. Over the course of time, these complex product processes have become routine for the Dekker Group. There is also increasing demand for heating flexibags of vegetable oil and other products in our climate rooms and/or hotboxes to enable transfer.
