One example of maximum chain management is the melting of cocoa mass, butter and vegetable fats. We collect containers from the port, via interim storage in our warehouse. From a block via dedicated melting units to tanker transportation to the customer.
Many products solidify at certain temperatures, which means they have to be kept warm during storage and transhipment. The Dekker Group can keep products with a high viscosity liquid. Melting solid products is also an important process that the Dekker Group has undertaken for many years.
Solid products are melted via dedicated melting ovens or by using a hotbox to heat the IBCs/drums. Over the course of time, these complex product processes have become routine for the Dekker Group. There is also increasing demand for heating flexibags of vegetable oil and other products in our climate rooms and/or hotboxes to enable transfer.
If you have any questions about melting your products, please don’t hesitate to ask.
