Zijdepark taken into use
On the new industrial estate called Zijdepark in Ouderkerk aan den IJssel, Dekker Tankopslag took an extensive and advanced storage hall of more than 5.000 m2 into use. With this new building we now have one central location for the storage of dry and packed goods in stead of three different locations.

About Dekker
The Dekker Group is a renowned and more than one hundred year ago founded logistical company, specialized in the transports and storage/transshipment of fluid vegetable oils and fats for mainly the food industry, such as palm products, lecithin, cocoa mass, animal food, fruit juices etc.
The subsidiary companies of the Dekker Group are:

In our head office in Ouderkerk a/d IJssel we arrange with our extensive car park conditional tank transports to and from all European countries.
For the cleaning under stringent conditions of the tank trailers, storage tanks and tank containers, we have an ultramodern cleaning station, as well as a Technical Department for all maintenance.
Because of our propitious location alongside the IJssel river, barges easily can reach us from the Rotterdam harbor and can moor to one of our piers for unloading the fluid products into the extensive and technical advanced tank park, where 100 stainless steel heated storage tanks are available.
One of the strengths of Dekker is our chain management, which means that from A to Z we professionally can take care of the total logistical concept of our customers, from the products ex seagoing vessel until the delivery by road everywhere in Europe, included all custom activities and sampling. But also small or single logistical orders shall be carried out by us to the satisfaction of our customers.
Next to the road transport and storage in Ouderkerk, the Dekker Group also owns a transport company in Dendermonde Belgium, we participate in storage companies in Rotterdam Botlek and in Poznan Poland, the location in Ouderkerk has provisions for melting cocoa mass and cocoa butter, and we can fill fluid products into barrels and IBC's. Furthermore we have several storage halls for dry goods and barrels, and our advanced laboratory guarantees purified products.
